Assembly Instructions
- Set base piece (Cold Drinks Here) on a flat surface.
- For the upright phone compartment piece, ensure it is hinged LEFT/pull handle RIGHT. GENTLY press the tab on the back of the base piece (no more than 1/8”) while sliding the phone compartment downward onto the base piece until it snaps into place.
- Two side panels – with the embossed DrinKabana logo right side up, slide each one downward into the curved grooves in the base piece. The two little winglets should be in the back, against the phone compartment – NOT in the front.
- Lid – before assembling, turn it upside down and find the curved grooves that match those in the base piece into which you’ve inserted the side panels. While ensuring the rear connection of the lid fits into the top of the phone compartment, press down on the lid while guiding the tops of the side pieces completely into the grooves in the lid. Press down until the lid is fully into the grooves. You can also gently tap the lid into place with the palm of your hand AS LONG AS THE SIDE PANELS FIT SECURELY INTO THE GROOVES IN THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID. Flip up the lid compartment to reveal the speaker basket.
- The phone compartment will accommodate virtually all non-folding phones, keeping them protected out of direct sunlight – just like your refreshment. The phone stands up for one-finger operation!!
- NOTE – the DrinKabana is water-resistant, NOT waterproof. It is not intended for use IN the water, but is for use NEAR the water. Excessive splashing and airborne water could enter the product and may affect your phone and speaker. Rotate it slightly to prevent sunlight from contacting your drink when the sun is behind you.
- It’s easily disassembled for transportation to your favorite outdoor location!!
Bluetooth Speaker
- Fully charge the speaker via the USB connection. The power-indicator light below the on-off button will glow green when charged. Don’t forget to also charge your phone completely!!
- Press the on-off button on the side of the speaker (below the +) for a full second+ until the blue lights on the top of the speaker illuminate. Turn off the speaker the same way.
- On your phone’s Bluetooth settings, connect to the device. You can now stream music through your favorite platforms.
- Use volume and song advancement buttons on your phone. Alternately, you can increase/decrease volume with the speaker’s +/- buttons, or advance or back up to previous songs with the arrow buttons. This will be helpful when your phone is in the compartment.
- NOTE – if you experience broken/interrupted/cutting-out music, it is NOT due to speaker malfunctioning. It occurs when you’re too close to another music source and speaker competing with your Bluetooth connection.
Since your Bluetooth speaker is not affixed to the DrinKabana, it can be removed and used anywhere you wish to enjoy music – home, office, hotel room, golf cart, RV, you name it!!
